The YMCA Teen Leaders' Club and Leaders In Training is a volunteer program for teens ages 12 to 18. It is an exciting and productive organization that focuses on community service, social development, leadership training and physical development. All members play an active role in the Leaders' Club and are responsible for achieving personal growth through goals defined by each teen and the club.

Who Should Join?

Teens between the ages of 12-18, who enjoy working with children, physical activity, participating in community projects, and  strive to be leaders. Leaders must be a role model to others; therefore, it is required that the Leaders maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA. All Leaders and Leaders In Training are expected to maintain physical fitness and will be asked to demonstrate skills and lead events. Candidates must enter with good behavior and a positive attitude displaying the YMCA Character Traits of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

What Do We Do?

Each member of the club strives to become a community leader through various service projects and trainings. Teens attend weekend rallies and participate in social activities such as overnights and fitness events.
