The YMCA is a membership organization and the use of YMCA facilities is reserved for members and their invited guests. Your YMCA membership provides you with a variety of activities from which to choose at the Southeast Family Branch.

Community-Wide: Enables members to utilize all branches of the YMCA of Greater Louisville. This membership offers the flexibility of working out at the YMCA near your home or office. Family and Youth have the option to play at Calypso Cove (includes a onetime pool fee)
Family: Two adults residing at the same address - or - one or two adults with dependent children residing at the same address.
Adult: 18-64 years of age
Senior: 65 years of age and over
Youth: 10-17 years of age (or still in high school)

The YMCA is now more accessible with membership rates based on household income. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay.

"AWAY" Program

Always Welcome at the YMCA (A.W.A.Y.) Privileges
As a YMCA of Greater Louisville member, you have access to free or reduced rate privileges at hundreds of other participating YMCAs across the country, by showing your YMCA of Greater Louisville membership card.

Temporary Memberships

Out of town guests are eligible for a temporary membership (1-3 months) to the YMCA. Proof in the form of an out-of-state drivers license must be shown for verification outside of a 50 mile radius. Temporary memberships are only offered at the branch, no temporary Metro memberships will be sold. The full term of the membership, plus 1/4 of the joining fee must be paid at the time of joining.

Guest Policy

Guest are welcome when accompanied by a member or when trying out the facility. However, the YMCA is a membership organization and our first obligation is to our members.

Members may bring a maximum of one guest per visit
Families may bring a family as their guest
All guests age 7 and over must have a picture ID
Local guests are limited to two visits per year
Guests under the age of 14 not permitted in the Fitness Center or Aerobics Center
Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult
