2017 YMCA Youth Character Award Honorees


13 outstanding area teens were recognized as 2017 YMCA Youth Character Award honorees. Each honorees exemplifies the Y’s commitment to strengthening our community and embodies the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Selected youth demonstrate exceptional leadership and stand as examples to those around them. Each honoree also received a $1500 scholarship to assist in their future academic and leadership pursuits.
