YMCA of Greater Louisville Supports Kentucky Tornado Victims

In response to the devastation caused by the tornadoes across Western Kentucky, the YMCA of Greater Louisville organized donation sites across all of our branches and childcare locations, collecting everything from personal safety items to gifts and toys for the children who lost so much during the holiday season.

Our wonderful staff, pictured below, collected the donations and traveled to Western Kentucky to deliver them to the Mayfield and Hopkins County Family YMCAs.

Thank you to all who donated, and to our team for giving their time to the cause! A special thank you also to Clark and Riggs, who generously donated vans for our mission. Together, we have provided resources, aid, and holiday cheer to hundreds across these devastated communities.

If you would like to make a monetary donation to the YMCA of Greater Louisville on behalf of the recent weather disasters in Kentucky and surrounding areas, you may do so using the form below. We have arranged to wire transfer donations given through the YMCA of Greater Louisville and 100 percent of all donations designated to this cause will be passed through to the YMCAs in Mayfield and Hopkins County. It’s important to trust that your donation makes it to those affected by the human and property loss.

Thank you for your willingness to help and for your trust in the YMCA.
