SUMMER DAY CAMP 
AGES 5-13
CHESTNUT STREET SUMMER FUN DAY CAMP
We create experiences that are fun, educational, and adventurous while focusing on developing the potential in all of our campers. At our Y summer day camp, we will go on field trips every week, exploring our city parks and swimming at Calypso Cove Family Waterpark!
Our Summer fun includes a session on water safety with trained Y Swim
Instructors, new field trips, team building sports, educational components, and creating crafts! Plus we offer an optional overnight lock-in on July 5 and an overnight at Camp Piomingo.
MEALS 
We are a participant in the summer food program and free breakfast and lunch will be provided. (Except for the last week of camp)
KID'S CAFE
The Chestnut Street Family YMCA is a Kid's Café site. As an additional benefit, campers can join us for the evening meal at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This free service is a part of the Dare to Care outreach program.
SUMMER CAMP KICK-OFF & PARENT ORIENTATION
Join us for an informational afternoon on May 23, from 5-6:30 pm, where you can meet our summer day camp staff and learn about all the activities and field trips that we have scheduled for this summer.
CAMP DATES & HOURS
Our summer fun runs from June 10- August 16 and our camp hours are
from 7 am-6 pm. Our Camp is licensed by the state and eligible for third
party reimbursement.

LICENSING
Our Summer Camp program is licensed by the State of Kentucky and follows policies and procedures recommended by the YMCA of the USA. Our program is eligible for various third party child care reimbursements provided by 3-C, Foster Care, United Way, etc. Contracts must be provided at the time of registration to receive the discounted weekly fee.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. We believe all children should have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Financial assistance makes summer day camp available to those kids in need. Download our application or call 587.9622 for more information.
