VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There is no other volunteer organization quite like the Y. That's because is 10,000 communities across the nation, we have the presence and partnerships not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting and personal change.

At the Downtown Family YMCA, we're looking for volunteers who help move people and communities forward. Here are some of the ways you can make a difference:
  • Facility & Grounds Committee: Provides a safe, welcoming and sustainable environment where everyone in our community can strengthen spirit, mind and body.
  • Finance Committee: goal is to have a financially healthy and sound organization with the strength to extend valuable programs and services to all by eliminating financial barriers.
  • Membership Committee: Become part of a unified, valued and respected voice that advocates for policies that make a positive change on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
  • Board of Directors: Help lead the Downtown Family YMCA in striving to respond to our neighborhood's social needs while strengthening the foundation of community.
  • 2012 Annual Giving Campaign: strives to raise donated funds so that we will make a lasting and meaningful impact on our community, one person at a time.
