GIVE TO THE Y
The YMCA of Greater Louisville is an essential, charitable organization dedicated to strengthening our community through programs that nurture the potential of children, promote individual health and well-being, and give back to provide support for our neighbors. Your participation with the YMCA will bring meaningful change not just within yourself, but to others in our community.
When you support the Y, you join an organization that offers more health, more hope and more opportunity to children, to teens, to adults and to families. Read Our Impact Stories.
*** YMCA SUSTAINABILITY CAMPAIGN***
To ensure our Y will be able to respond to our community’s needs and emerge stronger for the future, we have launched the YMCA Sustainability Campaign to address the impact of the COVID-19 healthcare crisis on our ability to serve our communities.
While we have begun the reopening of our YMCA facilities, we are still looking forward to welcoming back thousands of children, youth, and families to safely participate in our life-changing programs and services. You can help make sure that happens.
Contributions will allow us to support childcare and other important community programs essential to the reopening of our community. We recognize there will likely be an even greater need for our programs and services, as children and families recover from this major disruption in their lives.
Thank for your generous support of the Y during these challenging times. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact us at
TYPES OF GIVING
Each year, the YMCA of Greater Louisville rallies the support of the community with its Annual Campaign. This is a time when community members, businesses, foundations, YMCA volunteers and staff come together and give generously to help guarantee that everyone can benefit from life-changing Y experiences.
Whether due to unemployment, poor health, financial hardship or other special circumstances, people struggle to provide for their families. Only by working together can we give more kids the opportunity to grow strong in spirit, mind and body. Contributions received from our annual campaign efforts allow us to provide the growing number of scholarships awarded to individuals and families in need of vital Y programs and services.
