CALYPSO COVE FAMILY WATERPARK

Our Community-Wide Family with Calypso Cove Members have unlimited access to our family water park. If you are unsure if Calypso Cove is included in your membership, call 425.1271 and our staff will be more than happy to help you.

CALYPSO COVE FAMILY WATERPARK GUEST POLICY

Community-Wide Family with Calypso Cove Members are able to bring guests to Calypso Cove. Guests may access the water park with you for only $20 per person per visit (children under 2 pay only $5). However, if the guest of the member lives 50 miles or more outside the Louisville area, they may access the park for free.

Calypso Cove opens May 12th. We will be open on weekends only until May 26th. From May 26th through-August 17th, we will be open every day. The hours of operation are:

Monday-Friday 11:00 AM-8:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM-7:00 PM

Some important reminders:

• If there are thunderstorms in our area and we see lightning or hear thunder, for your safety and security, we need to close the water park for 20 minutes after each instance. We will also shut down the water park if the temperature drops below 70 degrees.
• Your little ones should be in swim diapers (We have them for sale in our Membership Office). If there is an "incident" in the pool, we will need to close down for a period of time.
• Children over 10 years, may check themselves into Calypso Cove. For their safety and security, children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult (age 18+) during their time at the water park.
  

• The pool starts with beach (zero depth) entry and progresses to 12" under Cast Away Island, the interactive play structure in the center of the pool.
• Just on the other side of Cast Away island, the pool gradually progresses to 18" deep and the deepest part of the pool is 3'. With our adult members in mind, we have some benches with hydro jets similar to a Jacuzzi.
  
• Our tower to our two slides, Typhoon Twister and Hurricane Run, are about 24' high - one slide is open and the other is a tube slide.
• The Vortex is in the center of the back portion of the pool. This whirl-pool current will be a great challenge, and workout, to go against. Don't forget about the two basketball goals next to the Vortex.
  
• The Lily Pad Crossing will be another interactive feature for swimmers to try and cross, with the help of nets overhead to help with balancing while others try to keep you from crossing with the 2 water cannons.
