BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Social Responsibility is one of the three focus areas of the YMCA of Greater Louisville. Generosity toward others is at the core of the Y's existence. It is through the support of our volunteers that the Northeast Family Y is able to give back to the community. When you are involved with our Y, you have the opportunity to bring lasting personal and social change to others.
Here are some of the ways you can make a difference:
With the help of over 500 volunteers, the YMCA of Greater Louisville served over 19,000 people this past year through Annual Campaign. With your passion and our training, we hope to reach even more this year by raising funds to support the many YMCA programs that serve our community, such as Safety Around Water, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Adaptive Sports, and more that are made possible through this volunteer opportunity.
If you are looking for a rewarding experience where you will meet new people and give back to your community, it's time to learn more about becoming a Y volunteer. Please review our Annual Campaign Volunteer Position Description and complete the Annual Campaign Fundraiser Application to get started.
