Camp Quest serves campers years 5-8, grouped by age. Campers enjoy intriguing and exciting activities, all while developing new skills and meaningful friendships. Each week will focus on a new theme that encourages self-discovery and personal development. Campers will enjoy an action-packed summer, traveling on two field trips a week. We’ll explore the Louisville Zoo, care for Farmer Steve’s farm animals, we’ll even root for the Louisville Bats during one of their home games. Camp Quest offers many activities designed to engage children of all backgrounds and interests.

June 10-14: Let's Get Moving:YMCA All-Star week! Come join us during this fun filled week to get active and make healthy choices! This week will be full of physical challenges while we track our progress daily. Team challenges, soccer, kickball, relay races, and swimming are just some of the many activities that will get everyone up and moving! Campers will enjoy a field day where they will earn stickers, ribbons, and medals! It’s the ultimate showdown; good sportsmanship will top the charts!
June 17-21: Summer Wash Out:Cannonball into a week of water fun! Come and enjoy wet n’ wild water activities, slip and slides, and more. Get ready for a whale of a good time with all things water! Jump into this wacky week where you’re in water more than on land! Campers will also get to express themselves making KOOL-AID art, splatter art, and floating art. Ride the wave dude!
June24-28: Pirates of the High Seas:Ahoy matey! All ye pirates out there, come discover your inner PIRATE with a week full o’ venture! This week will have pirate journeys, treasure huntin’, map makin’, walkin’t plank, and many other excitin’ activities. This week will be highlighted with cavern tours and nature walks where your camper will chase, climb and run.
July 1-5: Rockin' in the USA (camp closed July 4th):Celebrate America during this red, white and blue packed week. Campers will enjoy parades, Olympic-inspired games, and learn about global friends and the USA! This week campers will learn about teamwork through activities, games, and enjoy creating patriotic art. Campers and group leaders will face off in a variety of tasks, activities, and games throughout the week. Don’t forget our family BBQ to celebrate the brave leaders that made us who we are.
July 8-12: Engineered for Fun:Get ready to build! Campers will have the opportunity to tap into their imagination and creativity through a variety of introductory STEM based challenges. Paper airplane construction, bridge building, structure design and much more awaits your camper! We will experiment, learn and have fun together!
July 15-19: Livin' in the Wild:Lions, tigers, and bears … Oh my! It’s time to unplug and embrace the wild. Learn about different animals, play animal themed games, create animal art, and explore cool colorful critters from around the world. Grab your binoculars and sunscreen to spend the day at the zoo visiting the biggest to the smallest of animals. Camp is highlighted with a trip to the Louisville Zoo.
July 22-26: Superhero Citizen: It’s not a bird! It’s not a plane! It’s a Super Citizen! Campers will explore their potential to lend a hand as we pay it forward through community service learning and create the hero in all of us. Join in this week as campers reach new heights working together as they participate in fun activities and meaningful service projects.
July 29-August 2: Blast from the Past:It’s time to get RETRO! Come have a TOTALLY GROOVY trip through the decades. Be prepared to take a FAR OUT journey. Each day will be a different era where we will learn about popular trends, games and music from the past! Campers will enjoy costume making, face painting, and create spectacular artistry of the ages! We’ll have a little Nickelodeon You Can’t Do That on Television party at Camp. Campers and group leaders will make slime and ask trivia questions. You can guess the rest! Be sure to bring a bathing suit!
August 5-9: American Idol Extravaganza:Creative and Performing Arts Show - Campers will discover their inner performer at our very own talent week. This week campers will shine during this week of imagination, creativity, and talent! They will enjoy the spotlight with fun activities like karaoke, lip-syncing battles, theatre, and even a dance-off! Friday activities will bring a concert with skits, music, and performances by the campers!
