VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

There is no other volunteer organization quite like the Y. That's because is 10,000 communities across the nation, we have the presence and partnerships not just to promise, but to deliver, lasting and personal change.

At the YMCA at Norton Commons, we're looking for volunteers who help move people and communities forward. Here are some of the ways you can make a difference:
  • Togetherhood Service Projects: The YMCA is partnering with other community agencies to provide volunteer opportunities in our area. The projects are one-day events. A schedule of opportunities will provide you with multiple chances a year to get involved. This is a great way to give back and build relationships with your fellow members.
  • Membership & Programs Committee: Become part of a unified, valued and respected voice that advocates for policies that make a positive change on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
  • Board of Directors: Help lead the YMCA at Norton Commons in striving to respond to our neighborhood's social needs while strengthening the foundation of community.
  • YMCA Annual Campaign: Help raise donated funds so that we will make a lasting and meaningful impact on our community, one person at a time.
