SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
The YMCA of Greater Louisville's various social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Foursquare, LinkedIn, etc.) are part of a two-way conversation between people. Because of the family-friendly nature of our content, we have guidelines in place on what is appropriate interaction in the YMCA of Greater Louisville social media spaces.
Our social media team works diligently to post accurate, timely, relevant content on our social media sites. We respond to feedback and comments with respect and courtesy, and request that our followers respond in the same manner.
We encourage our online community to tell their stories and post pictures of their Y experience. If anyone does share photos, the YMCA of Greater Louisville assumes that anyone sharing their user generated content has the right to do so and has the permission of the individuals in the photos, videos, and/or audio. Please do not share any content that you do not have permission to post, including photos of children without permission of their parents or guardians.
We welcome constructive feedback, and reserve the right to remove any comments that we feel are inappropriate due to foul language attacking a single person or group, unsupported accusations, or spam that explicitly promotes a product or service. If contact information is available, we will notify authors personally and let them know that their comments have been removed. We reserve the right to ban repeat offenders.
We work to respond to comments and questions quickly. If there are delays, please be patient as we work to improve the experience of our online community.
