Learn the basics, improve your soccer skills and make new friends! Here at the Y we make sure that every child gets to play and that games are safe, fair and most of all fun.

When you sign up for Y Girls Soccer you not only learn how to play the sport, you also get a team jersey, soccer socks and a team photo!

Choose which age range best fits what you're looking for:

8-10 year olds

11-14 year olds

AGES 8-10 | GIRLS SOCCER

During your one-hour practice each week, your coach helps you develop your soccer skills while teaching you about teamwork. Teams play 8 on 8 with goalies and each quarter lasts 10 minutes. We use size 4 soccer balls.

Teams practice once a week for 1 hour and practices are available Monday-Friday. Games take place on Saturday. Practices and games are held at the Southeast Family YMCA and the First Alliance Church. Teams may travel to other Y locations for games.

The late registration fee is $15 after Feb. 27, 2012.

AGES 11-14 | GIRLS SOCCER

Focus is on continued skill development and physical fitness. Our teams play 11 on 11 with goalies and each quarter lasts 12 minutes. Size 5 soccer balls are used.

Teams practice once night a week for 2 hours and practices are available Monday-Friday. Games take place on Saturday. Practices and games are held at the Southeast Family YMCA and the First Alliance Church. Teams will travel to other Y locations for games.
