This summer will be full of exciting activities that will teach campers to challenge themselves to find hidden individual talents and work together in teams through arts, physical activity, STEM, and so much more! June 1-4 Y World Records Challenge Camp Tik Tok You Don’t Stop, obstacle course, jump rope, free throw challenges.
June 7-11 Go With The Flow Challenge Camp Electric Slide, Movement Chain
June 14-18 Kindness Challenge Camp How many acts of kindness can you accomplish in a week? We’ll send letters to the elderly, sticky notes of kindness, kindness chain, smile challenge, and thank you notes to community workers.
June 21-25 Team STEM Challenge Camp Science fair, Technology (futuristic city), Engineering (Dominoes), Art (Site symbol), and Math Challenges!
June 28- July 2 Community Giving Challenge Camp Campus clean-up, canned food drive, sock drive, and recycling!
July 5-9 Literacy Challenge Camp How many books can we read in a week? We’ll have a spelling bee, poetry, rap (group song), and practice word search design.
July 12-16 Healthy Living Challenge Camp We’ll have yoga, a water challenge, a healthy recipe challenge, healthy eating, physical activity, self-care, and group fitness videos.
July 19-23 Nobody Like Me Challenge Camp Diversity, inclusion, differences, uniqueness, talents, and my story (older kids).
July 26-30 Character Challenge Camp Character development (teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty, responsibility, caring, respect, and empathy.
August 2-6 Get Crafty Challenge Camp Drawing, self-portraits, 3-D art, pottery, and canvas painting.
All of our Y Summer Day Camp Programs and locations are licensed by the state of Kentucky and are eligible for various third-party childcare reimbursements provided by 3-C, Foster Care, United Way, etc. Contracts must be provided at the time of registration to receive the discounted weekly fee.
