CAMP HONOR BRIGHT 1

AGES 6-8

Located on 17 acres of open fields and marked trails, Camp Honor Bright is a traditional outdoor day camp that provides children the excitement and thrill of camping along with memories that will last a lifetime.

SUMMER CAMP DATES, HOURS & LOCATION

Dates & Hours: June 4-August 3; 6:30 am-6:00 pm
Location: Located off Old State Road 60 in Sellersburg; Campers can be dropped off at the Clark or Floyd County Family YMCAs or at Honor Bright.


SUMMER CAMP RATES

Registration Fees: $25 per child through May 2; $45 per child after May 2

Deposit: $10 per child per week

Facility Member Weekly Rate: $135 per child
Program Member Weekly Rate: $145 per child

SUMMER CAMP WEEKLY THEMES

June 4-June 8: Welcome Week
: This week will have lots of ice breaks and ‘get to know you games’. This is a great week for campers to get to know and love camp.
June 11-June 15: Campers Assemble: This week is all about super hero fun! We will get to use our super powers for a variety of fun!
June 18-June 22: Wonderful World of Disney: We are adding in the magic of Disney in this world! Games and crafts will be inspired by our favorite Disney movies.
June 25-June 29: Wild, Wild West:
Go back in time with us! This will be a rootin, tootin good week!
July 2-July 6: Stars and Stripes (camp closed July 4th): This is also our Olympic Week. On Monday and Tuesday campers will swim on their normal days. We will also be getting things prepared for our Olympic games. All campers should bring a white t-shirt on Monday or Tuesday. There will be no camp on Wednesday, July 4th. Thursday and Friday we will travel to the Clark County YMCA to compete against other camps. Campers will be transported to the Y for the morning. Pick up and drop off locations are the same. July 9-July 13: Honor Bright Celebrates the Holidays: What is the one thing campers miss out on during camp? All of the other Holidays! This week we will celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Easter and more… the Honor Bright way! (Cubs Schedule PDFFoxes Schedule - PDF)
July 16-July 20: Kids' Choice Awards: This week campers will get to have many many choices! Games, activities, and crafts will include a lot of input from our campers. (Cubs Schedule PDFFoxes Schedule - PDF)

YMCA Camp Piomingo has been providing community, friendship and fun for over 75 years!
