TWEEN AND TEEN CAMP

AGES 10-13

Tween and Teen camp is a great opportunity for older youth to enjoy their summer. Unlike any other camp each week the Tweens and Teens plan what they are doing. They go on field trips 3 times a week which includes a trip to Kentucky Kingdom. Through attending this camp your child will have the chance to build friendships, volunteer, swim, explore and much more!

SUMMER CAMP WEEKLY THEMES

June 4-June 8:  
We are Family: At teen camp we are family. So let’s take this week to get to know each other and become a team by playing fun and active games together.
June 11-June 15: Keep Calm and Give Back: Discover how great it feels to make a difference. This is your opportunity to give back to the community through a variety of community service events.
June 18-June 22: Mad Science: Put on your thinking caps as we dive into the world of science. Join us for a week of hands on science experiments and ooey gooey fun.
June 25-June 29: Swimming with the Sharks: Are you ready for shark week? Put your best fin forward by creating a water invention to share with the world. Don’t be a fish out of water as we dive into all things summer.
July 2-July 6: Color Wars (camp closed July 4th): Teams divide up by color and compete against others in challenges to earn points for their team. We’ll end the week with a color run.
July 9-July 13: Survivor: Campers inhabit the Y and attempt to outwit, outlast and outplay each other. Will your team take all?
July 16-July 20: Fear Factor: Conquer your fears of taste, touch, smell, sight, and sound as we challenge you to try something new.

YMCA Camp Piomingo has been providing community, friendship and fun for over 75 years! You'll build relationships and self-confidence while forming other skills too, from horseback riding, rock climbing and swimming to art and drama. We have so many things for you to explore.
