The DIAMONDS Program is a program that teaches young women Promotes healthy choices and healthy relationships. This program focuses on establishing goals and increasing self-esteem in high school and middle school students and also encourages volunteering and community service.

To truly promote the growth of youth into well rounded young women, DIAMONDS will specifically focus on the goals of improving academic performance, delinquent behavior reduction, substance abuse prevention and improvement of attitudes and self esteem.

To achieve these goals, the DIAMONDS curriculum includes topics that enhance character development, conflict resolution skills, decision making skills, leadership development, family relationship building and substance abuse prevention among others. All topics are presented in a fresh and relevant way that will engage youth in conversation, allow them to explore themselves in a safe, supportive environment and challenge them to make healthy, positive changes in their lives.

DIAMONDS is provided free of charge for both facility members and program members thanks to the generous support of the Community Foundation, the Horseshoe Foundation and Metro United Way.
