YMCA WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM

Our YMCA Weight Loss program is a weekly, ongoing program designed to assist Y members in achieving their weight loss goals. Each weekly session is led by our trained weight loss program facilitators and explores everyday topics that are essential to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, such as:

  • Tracking intake and activity
  • Overcoming weight loss plateaus
  • Meal planning
  • Expanding healthy cooking skills
  • Staying motivated

GETTING STARTED

Our four, 30-minute sessions are designed to help individuals jump start their journey to improved health and well-being. During this 4-week introduction, we'll teach you the program's specific focus areas while receiving personal nutrition goals, setting personal weight loss goals, and be provided with all program materials.

With goals set and the knowledge to be successful, the next step is to begin our 1-hour, ongoing Weight Loss Program sessions.
