MEMBER RECRUITMENT & MARKETING DIRECTOR
Hi! My name is Jennifer Giannone and I’m the Member Recruitment and Marketing Director at the Northeast Family YMCA. I have been working at Northeast since 2013 and have been truly inspired by our incredible members, volunteers, and staff.
I earned my Business Administration degree with a concentration in Management at the State University of New York in the beautiful mountains of New Paltz, NY. In the years that followed, I married my college sweetheart, John, and developed my marketing career through corporate positions within industry leading technology companies. When our two sons, Dante and Colin, came along in 2005 and 2007, I stepped back from my career to focus on our boys as a stay-at-home mom.
After relocating from Long Island, NY to Louisville in 2012, my younger son started Kindergarten and I started looking for a place to belong in our new city. I started working at the Northeast YMCA in 2013 and found my home at the Y! The staff and members are so welcoming and I felt a sense of belonging like no other place. I love finding new ways to share the many great programs and services of the Y with our members and the community, and am inspired by the impact of our Annual Campaign. In my years of working here, I have found the YMCA to be "home" for many - whether it's a family looking for a safe place, a mom who needs a break, a widow starting over, or a cancer survivor who needs someone who truly understands them, the Y is there -- for all.
When I'm not working, you can usually find me in a car pool line or watching our boys play football or soccer. I love music, theater, and have a passion for exploring new places. I have traveled to most states in the country and throughout Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. I'd love to have the opportunity to learn more about you and help you find your "home" at the Y.
