ODYSSEY SUMMER CAMPS

AGES 5-8

We will gather together each day with a spirited themed assembly that builds unity and fosters friendships throughout our time together. We are incorporating the Y-Core values (Caring, Honesty, Respect & Responsibility) in each weekly theme. We will offer specialized activities that focus on enhancing children's knowledge in STEM, Literacy, Character Building, and Fitness.

VIRTUAL CAMP KICKOFF/PARENT ORIENTATION: MAY 19, 2021

Virtual Orientation will be held on May 19, 2021. For returning campers, please join us from 6:30 pm-7:00 pm. For new campers, please join us from 7:30 pm-8:00 pm.

CAMP MEET AND GREET: MAY 27, 2021

Camp Meet and Greet will be held at Norton Commons Elementary School on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Please follow the guide below for your arrival time: last names A-F please arrive at 6:30 pm, last names G-M please arrive at 7:00 pm, last names N-R please arrive at 7:30 pm and last names S-Z please arrive at 8 pm.

WEEKLY Camps

June 1-4: Passport to Adventure Camp: Welcome world traveler! This week will be full of collecting stamps from countries all over the world. We’ll take a closer look into the varied cultures, foods, games and art forms from around the world. With so much to experience, the world awaits!
June 7-11: Cirque du Soleil Camp: Come one, come all to the #1 greatest Camp on Earth! Experience the performance of a lifetime and participate in fun beyond your wildest dreams. We’ll learn about the life under the big tent from gymnastics to clowning around. You won’t want to miss the show!
June 14-18: Holiday Camp: Merry Hanukkah! Join us for all the celebrations, as we look at our favorite Holidays around the world. This week we will wear costumes, dance a jig and remember our heroes. So give thanks, buy a loved one flowers and sign up today!
June 21-25: Color Wars Camp: Get ready for the competition of the century as we enjoy a week full of games and activities focused around teamwork! Groups will compete in games to earn points towards the ultimate prize, all while enjoying and appreciating art and sportsmanship. The week will end with a color run to bring every camper together in an explosion of color!
June 28-July 2: Everyday Hero Camp: You’ve heard of Superman and Batman but have you heard about the Everyday Hero? It’s inside all of us! This week we will be learning about what it takes to be heroes, from caring for the world around us to appreciating our own heroes. We will be giving back to the community that gives us so much!
July 5-9: Myths & Legends Camp: It’s time to embrace the Magical World of Mythical Creatures. We will discover new species and find Bigfoot once and for all! With our imagination, we will turn everyday animals at the Zoo into our own legendary creations. Bring your binoculars and hiking shoes because you don’t want to miss this!
July 12-16: Mission: H2O Camp: Classified: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to defeat pollution and save water! We will be uncovering clues about our carbon footprints while beating the heat with water games. You will need to be mindful and sneaky. Should you complete the mission we will have a pool party and a healthy earth! You are uniquely qualified to participate in this mission, but you must hurry, there isn’t much time.
July 19-23: Olympian Camp: Take Two Getting ready for the Olympics is no small task but we are up for the challenge! Join us for training and timed trials. We’ll conclude our week with our Camp Olympics Ceremony to celebrate each camper’s accomplishments during the week.
July 26-30: Loony Laboratory Camp: Fizz, Pop, Bang! Pop on in for guaranteed fun as we explore the world of fizzing, foaming, and floating science! This week is packed full of crazy and messy experiments. We provide the fun; you bring your imagination.
August 2-6: The Game of Camp: This week we will be bring games to life from Jeopardy to Chutes and Ladders! Roll the dice and discover how much fun you’ll have! Did you ever want to compete on Family Feud or get lost in the game of Candy Land? This is the week for you!

REFUND POLICY

Registrations must be canceled a week prior to the Monday of camp to receive a refund (this does not include the deposit for some locations). If you do not give notice by the Monday before camp starts, the entire week’s fee will be non-refundable and non-transferrable.
