The Oldham County YMCA Summer Adventure is cruising through summer. Kids and counselors alike will travel from port to port discovering the world, embarking on a fantastical journey. Each week, kids embrace the power to discover new skills, build self-confidence, make new friends and feel a sense of achievement. Please join us this summer, we hope that you do!

Summer Adventure will begin in Kentucky on June 15. Due to differing state guidelines, full-day summer programs at Clark County will begin on May 18 and Floyd County on May 26. Review our policies to keep your children and our staff healthy this summer.

We are working diligently to ensure a fun, safe, and healthy summer for children and staff at the Y. If you have already registered for camp, we kindly ask you to let us know if you still plan to attend for all the weeks for which you are currently registered, or if your summer plans have changed to help us be sure we plan appropriately.

If for any reason you are unable to attend a week for which you are registered, simply notify us one week before the start of that session to receive a full refund of all payments made or stop the upcoming draft payment. In order to plan appropriately for staff, supplies and capacities, it is critical we can accurately anticipate enrollment and attendance. If you do not contact us in advance, we will be unable to provide a credit/refund for any fees paid for that week.

Mermaids, shells, fish, whales and did we mention SHARKS abound as we explore life under the sea through nature and craft projects, group games, skits, and friendly competitions. July 6-10 - Land, Sea, And Sky: Habitats Of The World - Take a tour around the world exploring the planet's diverse animal habitats and the animals that rely on them. Explore ecosystems within each habitat and learn how all of the animals within them are interdependent.

With a variety of options such as the Snack Shack where kids learn to make a fun dish, the Rec Room where friendly competition shows up in backyard games, the Auditorium where we host the talent showcase, and the Pool Deck which makes sure each child leaves completely soaked, it's a ship worth riding on.
July 20-24 - Bon Voyage - Climb on board as we cruise through the week, exploring new ports around the world. Kids will experience different world cultures all 5 days without leaving the Y! Children will map a course to go around the world in five days and have fun while learning.
