Description

VetFit is a FREE 8-week exercise program offered to veterans and their family/caregiver. The VetFit program will work to foster human connections and address social isolation and depression by helping veterans become more physically and mentally fit for life.

The VetFit program incorporates mindfulness, strength training, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility training. Groups of 6-10 participants meet twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays, for 2 hours. Each class consists of a gradual progression of exercises, education, and support to help each individual meet their goals.
