OPERATING WITH CARE

We are excited to welcome you to our Ys! The health and safety of our members, volunteers and staff are always our top priority. Please review our Health & Safety Protocols below to become familiar with what you can expect when you visit us. Please keep in mind, these guidelines are subject to change based on new information or additional guidance from heath officials.

The majority of our programs and services are now available. Please check with you branch about specific offerings.

MASK POLICY

  • We strongly encourage masks for everyone indoors and expect them for those who are unvaccinated.
  • The YMCA will support anyone choosing to continue to wear a mask.
  • Some YMCA programs may have different masking requirements due to the nature of their work, varying regulation, or location in which they occur.
  • All indoor YMCA based programs, in non-school settings, will require masks for ages 4 to 11. Any staff, adult, vendor or other individual in these programs areas or leading youth programs will also be required to wear a mask. This includes Kids' Club, Parent/Kids Night Out events, birthday parties and any other youth centered program where the children are in close proximity to one another for extended periods of time. This does not include swim lessons due to the nature of the aquatic environment.

Thank you to all of our members and staff for working together in keeping themselves and one another safe.

FACILITY CLEANLINESS

In addition to sanitizing equipment by staff throughout the day and the request of our members to wipe down equipment after use, the facilities and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected each day by using products and processes in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the Environment Protection Agency. Also, additional safety stations with wipes, paper towels, hand sanitizers and other cleaning supplies are available.

HOW I CAN HELP KEEP MYSELF AND MY COMMUNITY SAFE

Stay Home If You’re Sick: To help us prevent the spread of illness, members should stay home if they are not feeling well or have been in close contact with someone who is ill.

Encourage Eligible Individuals To Get Vaccinated. This is supported by many credible medical resources. We will be happy to connect you with medical experts if you would like more specific and direct information.

Bring A Mask. See Mask policy for more details.

Maintain Social Distance: Please exercise only on designated equipment and respect all signage regarding social distancing. Strive to maintain at least six feet between you and others whenever possible.

Remember to Wipe Down Equipment: Please help us reduce the risk of exposure by wiping down all equipment, weights, etc. before and after use with the provided cleaning materials.

Wash/Sanitize Hands Frequently.
