Bullitt County Program Services
The Bullitt County YMCA serves hundreds of children and families through before- and after-school programs at multiple school sites, summer day camps, and youth sports. The Y continues to work with community leaders to create new collaborations to offer additional programming to the community.
Chestnut Street Family YMCA
Located in the Russell Neighborhood, the Chestnut Street Family YMCA has been an anchor of stability in West Louisville since 1953 and a haven for many neighborhood children and families. It provides enrichment and educational programs for the community and is home to the YMCA Black Achievers, a preschool child care center and the Y's transitional living program. In addition to its Wellness Center, group fitness classes and basketball gym, Chestnut Street Family YMCA provides summer day camp and after-school tutoring for neighborhood children and frequently supports community volunteer efforts.
Clark County Family YMCA
The Clark County Family YMCA is located in Jeffersonville, IN and serves the Clark County area of Southern Indiana. Members will enjoy the Wellness Center, group fitness classes, three indoor pools, a basketball gym, pickleball courts, and more! In addition, the Clark County Family YMCA offers many programs including youth sports, swim lessons, running group, day camps, after school school-age child care and Kids’ Club.
Downtown Family YMCA
The Downtown Family YMCA is located in downtown Louisville business district. In addition to the Wellness Center, group fitness classes, indoor pool, and basketball gym, the Downtown Family YMCA offers racquetball, healthy living assessments, nutrition consultation, and personal training. Specialized coaching is available to help members meet their health and wellness goals. The Downtown Family YMCA offers many programs including CrossFit Full Gallop, water fitness classes, Forever Young program, swim lessons, and Kids’ Club.
Floyd County Family YMCA
The Floyd County Family YMCA is located in downtown New Albany, IN and serves the Floyd County area of Southern Indiana. Built in 2008, this gorgeous glass-top facility offers a Wellness Center, group fitness classes, gym and basketball courts, indoor track and cycling studio. Members will love the family fun pool with water slide, lap pool, and warm water pool. After swimming, enjoy the adult dry sauna and steam room. In addition, the Floyd County Family YMCA offers many programs including swim team, youth sports, swim lessons, day camps, full day out care, preschool and kinder prep, school-age child care, and Kids’ Club.
Northeast Family YMCA
The Northeast Family YMCA is located off North Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville’s east end. Members will enjoy the Wellness Center, group fitness classes, Fitness on Demand, two indoor pools, a basketball gym and more! Northeast Family YMCA is also home to Calypso Cove Family Waterpark, which includes a zero-entry pool, water slides, and play structures. Northeast Family YMCA also offers many programs including youth sports, Tsunami Swim Club, swim lessons, day camps, Parent’s Night Out, infant and preschool childcare and Kids’ Club.
Oldham County Family YMCA
Serving Oldham County, the Oldham County Family YMCA is located in Buckner, KY. This location is one-of-a-kind with its lodge-like atmosphere and décor. At the Oldham County Family YMCA, members will enjoy the Wellness Center, group fitness classes, an indoor pool, a basketball gym, and programs such as sports, swim lessons, day camps, childcare and Kids’ Club. Make sure you check out their podcast: Lowdown at the Lodge, to better assist in your pursuit of healthy mind, body, and spirit.
Members may also enjoy the Oldham County Family YMCA Indoor Sports Arena consisting of two 180' by 85' artificial turf fields. The fields are available to be rented on an hourly or daily basis. The facility is also available for community special events.
Republic Bank Foundation YMCA
The Republic Bank Foundation YMCA opened in 2019 in the California neighborhood in Louisville’s west end. This state-of-the-art facility features a Wellness Center, group fitness classes, an indoor pool, a basketball gym, and community meeting rooms. The Republic Bank Foundation YMCA offers many programs including youth sports, swim lessons, day camps, childcare, and Kids’ Club. This location offers access to the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, a place where teens can develop critical skills through hands-on activities that explore their interests in programming, filmmaking, music production and design. The Republic Bank Foundation YMCA is the first to feature a Community Integrated Heath structure, focused on bringing together traditional healthcare models with community-based organizations to make more accessible services that will promote heath, prevent illness and more effectively manage chronic disease.
Southeast Family YMCA
The Southeast Family YMCA is located on Six Mile Lane in southern Jefferson County. Members will enjoy the Wellness Center, group fitness classes, water fitness classes, and an indoor pool. In addition, the Southeast Family YMCA offers many programs including youth sports, swim lessons, day camps, Parent’s Night Out and Kids’ Club.
Southwest Family YMCA
The Southwest Family YMCA is located off Saint Anthony Church Rd. in southwestern Jefferson County. Members will enjoy the Wellness Center, group fitness classes, an indoor/outdoor pool, a basketball gym and more! Specialized coaching is available to help members meet their health and wellness goals. In addition, the Southwest Family YMCA offers many programs including youth sports, swim lessons, day camps, childcare and Kids’ Club.
YMCA At Norton Commons
The YMCA at Norton Commons is located on Brownsboro Rd. in the Norton Commons neighborhood in eastern Jefferson County. Members will enjoy the large, state-of-the-art Wellness Center with cardio equipment, free weights, and Cybex strength circuit, group fitness classes, two indoor pools, a basketball gym and large indoor track! Specialized coaching is available to help members meet their health and wellness goals with nutrition consultation, personal training and Healthy Living challenges. The YMCA at Norton Commons even has their own Fitbit group to keep you on track. Many programs are offered at YMCA of Norton Commons, including birthday parties in the pool or Club Y activity room, youth sports, swim lessons, day camps, childcare and Kids’ Club.
