Start a healthy holiday tradition in your family on Thanksgiving morning along with thousands of other walkers and runners in our community.
4 MILE RACE INFORMATION
Join walkers and runners in your community in this time-honored, family friendly Thanksgiving morning tradition and kick off the holiday season in a healthy way! This year's Turkey Trot will include an exciting 4 mile course. For the 4 mile race, medals will be awarded to the winning male/female by age group and top 3 males/females for the overall race (see Awards section below for details).
Participants will have electronic chip timing to record accurate timing results. Your time begins once you cross the starting line and ends once you pass the finish line. Since our race will have multiple starting times, race results will not be available until all groups have finished their race. Results will be posted online once available. See our Awards section for details on race awards. Virtual race participants will self-time their race and submit results electronically. See our Virtual Race section for details.
A commemorative 50th Annual Turkey Trot shirt will also be given to each race participant (on-site and virtual participants). However, you are only guaranteed a shirt during Packet Pickup if you register by November 18. Those registering after November 18 will be notified once final shirt order has been received. This typically takes 5-10 business days after race day. Those registering after the 18th will be able to pick their shirt(s) up at the Northeast YMCA once they have arrived.
Not able to participate in the Turkey Trot in person? No problem! You may also register for a virtual race experience. Members will be able to upload their race times and also be eligible to receive their commemorative Turkey Trot race shirt. Packet pickup will be the same as the on-site race. Virtual race participants are not eligible for race awards.See Packet Pickup section for details.
