Our Forever Young group is for adults ages 50 and over. This is an opportunity to get involved and make friends at the Southwest Family YMCA through exercise programs designed especially with the active older adult in mind, plus various trips and luncheons. All group exercise classes are included with membership and a minimal charge may occur with day trips and luncheons.

GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES
Land Group Exercise Class is called SilverSneakers. This class is a low impact high energy class geared to beginner exercisers and those who don't move as quickly as they use to. This class incorporates a cardiovascular portion, strength portion, and stretch and relaxation.
Water Group Exercise is called Aqua Toning. This is a 50-minute, low-impact shallow water exercise class designed to help exercisers or increase range of motion and muscular strength. A great class for people with arthritis, fibromyalgia or joint replacement. Perfect for beginner and intermediate water fitness level. It is not necessary to know how to swim.
