How It Works

The Teen Workforce Development Program introduces high school students to potential career pathways within the YMCA. This experience is designed to diversify and grow the Y’s future workforce by equipping teens with professional skills and meaningful connections.

Through the program, teens will:

  • Participate in paid career readiness and job training
  • Gain employability skills that support long-term success
  • Receive hands-on experience across departments
  • Connect with mentors and YMCA professionals
  • Build a resume and develop interview skills

This opportunity provides a supportive entry point for young people to gain early workforce experience while exploring how their interests align with real-world roles.
