In Their Shoes: Teen Dating Violence Awareness Workshops

During February—Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month—the Y, in collaboration with The Center for Women and Families and Metro Louisville Office for Women, will be hosting "In Their Shoes," an interactive, evidence-based workshop that helps teens and adults better understand what dating looks like in today’s world.

Through interactive scenarios, participants step into the lives of one of six characters—each based on real teen experiences involving issues such as sexting, pregnancy, homophobia, and stalking.

• Feb 4 | 5:30–7:30pm – Southwest Family YMCA
• Feb 11 | 5:30–7:30pm – Republic Bank Foundation YMCA
• Feb 18 | 5:30–7:30pm – YMCA Safe Place Services
• Feb 25 | 6–8pm – YMCA at Norton Commons

Workshops are FREE and registration is not required.
