Volunteer With The Y

We Need You

Volunteers are at the heart of the YMCA of Greater Louisville. Whether you’re mentoring youth, serving meals, coaching sports, or supporting one of our signature programs, your time and energy make a real difference.

Volunteering at the Y is more than a one-time task—it’s a chance to build community, uplift others, and grow in purpose alongside a team of caring, committed individuals.

How It Works

Getting started is easy. Simply explore the types of volunteer opportunities below. When you're ready, complete the Volunteer Interest Form to let us know how you’d like to get involved.

  • Volunteer opportunities are available at various Y branches and program sites
  • Commitment levels vary by role—some are one-time events, others are ongoing
  • Our team will follow up to match your interests with available needs
