Plan Your Event at the Y
Whether you're hosting a wedding reception, baby shower, business meeting, or birthday party, the Chestnut Street Family YMCA offers flexible rental spaces to match your needs. Choose from our elegant 6th floor Ball Room, the bright and spacious Meeting Room 412, or the full-size Gymnasium.

Rental Policies
Deposits
A $150 deposit is required upon reservation confirmation. This deposit is refundable after your event, provided the space is left clean and undamaged.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your event. Deposits become non-refundable after that point. To cancel, call us or stop by the front desk.
Reservation Window
Online reservation requests must be submitted at least 10 days before your event.
For events fewer than 10 days out or more than 120 days away, please call us at 502.587.7405 to discuss availability.
Approval Process
All requests require approval. We will contact you within 48 hours to confirm your reservation or discuss alternatives if needed.
6th Floor Ball Room (Capacity: 196)
Host large events with city views in our 6th Floor Ball Room—perfect for receptions, banquets, and evening celebrations.
$700 for 4 hours (minimum); $175 per additional hour
Available 9 am–12 am, Sunday–Saturday
Includes up to 30 tables and 150 folding chairs
Alcohol permitted (not sold); no food-heating facilities
No confetti, birdseed, or balloons
Must provide your own A/V equipment, decorations, and setup

Meeting Room 412 (Capacity: 40)
Ideal for smaller gatherings like meetings, baby showers, or birthday parties.
$200 for 4 hours
Available 9 am–10 pm, Sunday–Saturday
Includes tables and chairs
No alcohol, DJs, or loud music
Features large windows and 1,100 square feet of space
Gymnasium (Capacity: 300)
Reserve our gym for large-scale events, tournaments, or open-play gatherings.
$400 for 2 hours (minimum); $200 per additional hour
Available 9 am–10 pm, Sunday–Saturday
Tables and chairs available upon request
