Why Choose School-Age Care at the Y?

Partnership-Driven Care
We work directly with participating schools to provide a consistent, familiar environment where students feel safe and supported.

Enrichment Beyond the Classroom
Our curriculum combines creativity, movement, academic support, and character-building—all designed to meet kids where they are.

Experienced, Caring Staff
We hand-pick and train our team to be exceptional role models who truly care about your child’s growth and well-being.
School Breaks, Snow Days & In-Service Care

School Break Camps
We offer full-day care during fall, winter, and spring breaks with fun, theme-based programming. Activities include games, crafts, enrichment, and active play in a safe, supportive environment.

Snow Days
When schools close due to weather, we provide full-day care from 7 am to 6 pm (weather permitting) for currently registered participants. Children must bring a lunch and dress for outdoor conditions. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

In-Service Days
We offer care during most school in-service days from 7 am to 6 pm. Pre-registration is required. Please pack a non-refrigerated lunch; snacks are provided. Preschool-age care is not available on in-service days.
