About Our Summer Day Camps

At the YMCA at Norton Commons, summer day camps are built to spark curiosity, build friendships, and foster personal growth. With themed programming, hands-on activities, and plenty of outdoor fun, kids experience a full day of discovery in a supportive setting.

What to Expect:

  • Full-day care throughout summer break
  • Camps available for children ages 5–12
  • Weekly field trips and swim days, plus games, crafts, and outdoor play
  • Campers grouped by age for meaningful, age-appropriate experiences
  • Financial assistance is available for qualifying families

Each summer, we offer camps for all ages and interests. While offerings may vary, most return yearly—use this guide to explore what’s typically offered.


Odyssey Day Camps (Ages 5–8)

Odyssey campers embark on themed adventures designed to spark imagination and boost confidence. Each week includes two field trips and three swim days at the YMCA at Norton Commons, with hands-on projects and team challenges woven throughout.


Voyage Day Camps (Ages 8–12)

For older campers, Voyage brings more autonomy and excitement. Each week features three to four field trips, plus one swim day. Campers grow through active play, creative expression, and real-world learning that makes each day feel fresh and fun.
