Each summer, we offer camps for all ages and interests. While offerings may vary, most return yearly—use this guide to explore what’s typically offered.
Kermit Camps (Ages 4–5)
These camps are filled with themed activities that spark creativity and independence. Campers will enjoy one field trip and one on-campus experience per week, building confidence in a fun, supportive setting.
Explorer Camp (Ages 6–10)
With two field trips each week—including one to an Aquatic Center—Explorer campers stay active, try new things, and build friendships in a safe, engaging environment.
Horizon Camps (Ages 11–13)
Campers help plan weekly schedules, go on four field trips (including a weekly visit to Kentucky Kingdom), and gain life skills through cooking and collaboration—all while practicing Y character values.
Leaders In Training (LIT) (Ages 14–16)
This selective program helps teens develop leadership skills through hands-on support roles at camp and structured learning in communication, teamwork, and responsibility.
Summer Mini Camps (Ages 5–10)
Afternoon mini camps run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1–4 pm. Each themed week introduces a new adventure—like hiking, birdwatching, ballet, soccer, and field hockey. Now available as standalone sessions. No prior experience needed; equipment is provided. Held on the Oldham County YMCA campus.
