EGYM at the Y

We’re bringing the future of fitness to the YMCA!

Meet EGYM—a fully connected, personalized workout experience that automatically adjusts to your body and goals. Whether you’re new to strength training or looking to push past a plateau, EGYM makes every workout simple, smart, and effective.

Coming soon to Downtown Family YMCA, Northeast Family YMCA, Floyd County Family YMCA, Republic Bank Foundation YMCA, and Southwest Family YMCA.

How Does EGYM Work?

EGYM takes the guesswork out of exercise. With one tap of your EGYM band, Smart Strength and Smart Cardio equipment automatically adjust to your ideal settings—including resistance, range of motion, and seat position. Each full circuit takes about 22 minutes, giving you a quick, effective total-body workout that fits easily into your schedule. As you progress, EGYM updates your plan to help you build strength safely and efficiently. It’s fun, easy to use, and makes working out feel more like a game than a grind.

Your first EGYM session includes:

  • Setting your personal fitness goals
  • A full BioAge assessment
  • Identifying muscle imbalances
  • Creating your customized training plan

What is BioAge?

Your BioAge is a unique fitness metric that reflects how your body is performing compared to your chronological age. During your orientation, your coach will guide you through a series of assessments measuring strength, cardio endurance, and metabolism to determine your starting BioAge.

As you train with EGYM, your BioAge improves, giving you a clear, motivating way to track your progress and celebrate results that go beyond the scale.
