The Brown Bag Bus is a mobile meal program operated by the YMCA that delivers free meals directly to children and teens in neighborhoods where access to healthy food may be limited.

Meals are completely free for all eligible youth.
No registration is required. Children and teens can simply visit the Brown Bag Bus at one of the scheduled neighborhood stops during meal service times.
Meals are nutritious and child-friendly. Each meal may include a meat or protein, starch or grain, fruit, vegetable, and milk.
Meals are served directly from the Brown Bag Bus at designated neighborhood locations throughout the community.
Yes. In accordance with program guidelines, meals are eaten on the bus, which has been outfitted with bench-style seating and tables to create a safe and welcoming dining space.
Parents and caregivers are welcome to accompany younger children at the bus stop area, but meal participation is intended for youth ages 18 and younger.
Community members can support the program through donations, sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, or by helping spread awareness about meal locations and times.
