IMPORTANT COVID-19 MEMBER UPDATE
In accordance with Governor Beshear’s Executive Order, effective at 5pm on Friday, November 20, the following activities will be TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED at all Kentucky YMCA branches: all group programming including group fitness classes, water fitness classes, group swim lessons, indoor youth sports, and swim team. In addition Pickleball, racquetball, and group meetings/events will also be suspended while the order remains in effect. Additionally, we have updated our face covering requirements in Kentucky to align with new state requirements. Face masks will be required IN ALL AREAS, AT ALL TIMES while at the YMCA. This includes while you are working out (except while swimming). Guidelines vary in Indiana and masks are not required during cardio workouts or while swimming.
In order to allow you to visit at a time you are most comfortable and to ensure we are able to adhere to the 33% capacity limit, we also have a new tool that allows you to see how active your YMCA branch is before you visit.
