SUMMER CAMPS OVERVIEW
YMCA Day Camp is a place kids belong and can be themselves. We're here to inspire kids to work together and play together, creating friendships that can last a lifetime, while giving every child the support and guidance to try, to discover and to learn.
KAMP KERMIT (AGES 4-5)The Oldham County Family Y is excited to offer a summer of fun, friends and adventure! Campers get to spend lots of time enjoying the great outdoors, wonderful weekly themes, activities, field trips and swimming.
EXPLORERS CAMP (AGES 6-10)Your campers will have fun and stay engaged through age-appropriate, weekly themed activities. Our caring staff will help your child build confidence and learn new skills. Campers will enjoy riding bikes on our enhanced nature trail, swimming, including 2-3 field trips per week, a brand new archery range, Ga-ga ball, a variety of activities designed to stimulate learning & education, along with spending time with friends.
TEEN CAMP (AGES 11-14)This camp is designed to keep those fun-loving teens engaged and moving all summer. The campers and group leaders will develop the weekly field trip schedule together, planning out 3-4 field trips per week. Each week the Teen Camp will take one of its field trips to Kentucky Kingdom (a season pass is included in your child’s registration). Campers will also enjoy a variety of activities on our campus, such as riding bikes on our enhanced nature trail, swimming, a brand new archery range, Ga-ga ball, and spending time with friends.
