SMART START: MOVING FROM HOW TO WHY
We encourage all members to meet with a Healthy Living Coach to discuss your health and well-being goals. Whether this is your first time to get more active or if you have been active for years this session has proven to help members reach their goals.
This Smart Start Program will help you develop a plan, take action and review your progress. If you are interested in anything the Y has to offer such as group classes, including the water classes, swimming, walking, family programs, cycling or use of the large wellness area and equipment they can help you with that too! It is simple to sign up for an appointment and it is included in your membership.

Smart Start participants are 6 times more likely to reach their goals! Here's how it works:
Session 1: Have a plan: What are your goals and why are they important? What has helped you be successful in the past? What tends to get in your way?
Session 2: Take action with your YMCA team: Work with your YMCA coach to create a workout plan and an accountability plan that works best for you. Ask questions if you are unsure.
Session 3: Review your progress: Evaluate your progress to stay on track. Celebrate your accomplishments, and make adjustments to keep going!
