About Our Summer Day Camps
YMCA Summer Day Camps are built to help kids discover who they are and what they can achieve. Through hands-on experiences and plenty of active fun, campers explore new interests, form lasting friendships, and develop skills that stick.
What to Expect:
- Full-day care throughout summer break
- Camps available for children ages 5–14
- Activities include swimming, crafts, games, nature time, and local field trips
- Camps grouped by age to support individual growth and engagement
- Financial assistance is available for qualifying families
Choose Your Camp
Rising Star Camp (Age 5)
Campers participate in group games, arts and crafts, swimming, and outdoor play while building social skills, independence, and confidence to help prepare them for the transition into school—all in a fun, supportive environment.
Register for Northeast Rising Star Camp
Super Nova Camp (Ages 6–10)
Packed with energy and discovery, Super Nova campers build friendships and confidence through themed activities, creative play, and counselor-led adventures that change weekly.

Horizon Camp (Ages 11–14)
Designed for older campers, Horizon includes four weekly field trips like ice skating and Kentucky Kingdom, plus onsite swimming at the Cove once per week. Campers also build leadership skills through group activities and challenges.
