About Our Summer Day Camps

YMCA Summer Day Camps are where summer adventures come to life! Kids will dive into action-packed days filled with creativity, laughter, and new friendships—all in a safe, supportive environment. From exciting games to hands-on activities, every day brings fresh opportunities to grow, explore, and make unforgettable memories.

What to Expect:

Registration Opens Seasonally

Each summer, we offer camps for all ages and interests. While offerings may vary, most return yearly—use this guide to explore what’s typically offered.


Rising Star Camps (Age 5)

Campers participate in group games, arts and crafts, swimming, and outdoor play while building social skills, independence, and confidence to help prepare them for the transition into school—all in a fun, supportive environment.


Super Nova Camps (Ages 6–10)

Packed with energy and discovery, Super Nova campers build friendships and confidence through themed activities, creative play, and counselor-led adventures that change weekly.


Horizon Camps (Ages 11–14)

Designed for older campers, Horizon includes four weekly field trips like ice skating and Kentucky Kingdom, plus onsite swimming at the Cove once per week. Campers also build leadership skills through group activities and challenges.
