How It Works

The Southwest Family YMCA Child Development Center is a state-licensed, full-day program committed to supporting each child’s learning and development from infancy through age five.

We use the Creative Curriculum, a research-backed approach that integrates language, literacy, problem-solving, and play into daily learning. Children are encouraged to explore and create in a safe, structured setting.

Children enrolled in the program will:

  • Strengthen communication and motor skills
  • Participate in early literacy, art, and hands-on STEM experiences
  • Build independence, kindness, and cooperation
  • Play, learn, and grow indoors and outdoors
