About Our Summer Day Camps
At the Republic Bank Foundation YMCA, summer is a time for kids to stay active, connect with others, and discover their potential. From creative projects and team games to field trips and camper-led experiences, our camps offer something for every interest—all in a safe, inclusive environment guided by YMCA values.
What to Expect:
- Full-day care throughout summer break

Registration Opens Seasonally

Explorer Camp (Ages 5–10)
Designed for elementary-age kids, Explorer Camp blends hands-on learning with creativity and play. Campers dive into a variety of structured activities like science projects, art, games, and group fun—all in a safe, supportive setting.
Horizon Camp (Ages 10–15)
Built for older youth, Horizon Camp combines independence with adventure. Campers help shape weekly plans, go on multiple field trips—including two visits to Kentucky Kingdom each week—and stay engaged through active, social experiences made just for them.
