Program Details

Program Overview

Held annually at the scenic YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly, the National Achievers Summit brings together YMCA Black Achievers from across the country for an immersive leadership retreat. This empowering experience is designed to:

  • Develop life-enhancing leadership and personal growth skills
  • Build academic confidence and a stronger sense of identity
  • Provide space for group discussions, reflection, and team-building
  • Offer exposure to a diverse network of peers and professional mentors
  • Inspire students through college and career exploration workshops

Adults who attend also gain valuable program insights and participate in supportive roles for the youth.

  • Current participants in the YMCA Black Achievers Program
  • Open to youth Achievers and their adult mentors or program staff
