Weekend Family Camp FAQs

Whether it’s your first time or a long-standing tradition, we want your Family Camp experience to be as smooth and memorable as possible. Below are answers to some of our most frequently asked questions to help you prepare for your weekend.

Can we stay in a cabin with another family?
Yes. If you’d like to share a cabin with another family, please register together or contact the Camp Office to add them to your reservation.

What are the cabins like?
Cabins are rustic and sleep up to 10 people on foam mattresses. They include ceiling fans, screened windows for airflow, and limited electrical outlets. Cabins do not have air conditioning or heat, but you're welcome to bring a fan.

Are meals provided, and what if we have dietary needs?
Yes. All meals are served in our Dining Hall and prepared by our kitchen staff. We offer options for common dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free. Be sure to note any restrictions when registering or contact the Camp Office with questions.

Is there Wi-Fi at camp?
Wi-Fi is available in the Dining Hall and nearby areas. That said, we encourage families to unplug and enjoy quality time together without screens.

How do activity periods work?
Scheduled activities will be open during set time blocks, and families are welcome to move between them at their own pace. Some programs—like zipline or horseback riding—may require sign-up in advance or during camp. Activities are subject to change due to weather.

Can we start our own campfires?
Yes, campfires are allowed but only in established firepits. An adult must be present at all times, and fires must be fully extinguished before leaving the area.

How do we get around camp?
Once you’ve unloaded your belongings, please park in the Main Parking Lot. Camp is walkable via marked trails. If you have accessibility concerns, reach out to the Camp Office before registering.

What should we pack for the weekend?
See our “What to Bring” section above for a full list of recommended items, including bedding, toiletries, and appropriate clothing. We also include a list of items to leave at home for everyone’s safety and comfort.
