Members aged 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times (age 21+). Members ages 13 years and older may check-in without an adult.
Your safety and security are of high importance. If we see lighting or hear thunder, we will close the water park for 20 minutes after each instance.
For the latest updates on Calypso Cove closures, please check the announcements on your YMCA Daxko app and check our social media pages.
Please come dressed in swim attire.
Folding Chair or Seat Covering: You are welcome to bring your own folding chair or seat coverings at any time.
Snug-fitting Reusable Diapers: For the safety and enjoyment of all, every child, age 4 and under, and those not completely potty-trained, needs to wear a SNUG-FITTING reusable plastic covering over a swim diaper. Please make your swim diaper visible to our membership staff upon check in. If there is an "incident" in the pool, please notify a lifeguard as soon as possible. Contamination in the pool may result in facility closure. Please be sure children are dressed appropriately while swimming, and take regular restroom breaks.
Life Jackets: Only Coast Guard-approved life jackets are permitted. No boats, black tire inner tubes or arm water wings allowed.
Sunscreen: Use sunscreen liberally and apply it often throughout the day.
Swim Shoes: Swim shoes allow you to go directly from water feature to another without having to take shoes off and on before getting in the water.
Hat and Sunglasses: Protect your eyes from sun glare when you're out of the water.
Snacks: The snack shack will be fully operational this year with nachos, pizza, hotdogs, fountain drinks etc. Outside food and drinks are still permitted as long as it is in non-glass containers.
Towels: We encourage you to bring your own beach towels. Towels are not provided at Calypso Cove.
For a healthy and safe Y experience for all, please leave your water toys at home.
In an effort to enhance the member experience and keep our capacity at safe numbers, access will only be permitted to active community-wide members with Calypso Cove. Active community-wide members without Calypso Cove may come once for free and then upgrade if they would like continued access.
Members with guests may purchase a cove guest card at the Northeast Family YMCA Branch for $150 for 10 visits. This can be any guest and any day but Memorial Day, Fourth of July or Labor Day.
