At a Glance

The 100 Mile Swim Club is a member-only swim challenge that helps Y members push themselves to their limits in the water. The 100 Mile Swim Club allows members to set a goal of how many miles they need to swim each month to make it to the 100-mile mark by the last day of the year.

So if you're a member of the Y, love to swim and wouldn't mind pushing yourself to reach that goalpost, this challenge is tailor-made for your lifestyle! This exclusive club is open to all Y members who have what it takes to swim the distance in our pool.

How far is 100 miles, you ask? Let’s start smaller. The competitive swimming standard for 1 mile is 1,650 yards. Rounding up, it breaks down to 3,173.1 yards per week, 452.05 yards a day. The numbers may seem daunting, but when broken down over the course of a year, they’re not so bad. You might already be swimming 100 miles and not know it!
