Summer Overnight Camp
Overnight campers ages six to 17 enjoy one-, two- or three-week-long overnight sessions from Sunday until Saturday during June, July and August. Campers stay in cabins with top-notch counselors and enjoy all the fun activities YMCA Camp Piomingo has to offer, including the pool, ropes course and other traditional camp activities.

Our Traditional Youth and Teen programs are one-week programs for ages 6-16. Campers will stay in a cabin with trained counselors and participate in camp activities such as archery, rock climbing, arts and crafts, and much more! There is also one two-week Traditional Camp session available.

Our Traditional Mini Camp is a 3-day, 2-night experience for campers aged 5-12 that want to get a taste of what YMCA Camp Piomingo has to offer.

Equestrian 1: Beginner

Our Beginner Equestrian Camp (ages 8-16) is a week of equine education, riding adventures, and hands-on experiences in the world of horses. Suited towards riders with little to no experience in the equine industry are given an opportunity to grow as a rider and in the barn. Come open the doors to what horses have to offer.

Our Intermediate Equestrian Camp (ages 10 -16) is a two-week intensive program of riding lessons, trail rides, equine first aid, and advanced equine education. This camp is tailored to campers with previous horse experience; comfortably and safely tack up and walk and trot on a horse.

The Trailblazer program is our tripping program that is available for campers aged 13-16. We offer a multitude of trips, from camping and climbing in Red River Gorge, to a backpacking trip in the Great Smokey Mountain area!

The Leaders-In-Training Program (LIT) is the first part of the Leadership Development Program at YMCA Camp Piomingo. Through this 2-week program, the LITs will learn and develop leadership, communication, and life skills - all while connecting with their peers and participating in camp activities. This program is open to 15 and 16-year-olds.

The Counselor-In-Training program (CIT) is for 16 and 17-year-old campers who wish to eventually become a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Piomingo. A CIT spends three weeks at camp developing leadership skills and gaining experience as a camp leader. Through the CIT program, your teen will identify and achieve goals, improve communication and decision-making skills, and contribute to the overall improvement of camp. Applications for this program can be found in the registration link. Enrollment will be awarded after an interview with camp staff.
HEROES
HEROES
The HEROES Program is a one-week leadership experience for 17-year-olds that focuses on volunteerism, as well as personal and professional development. HEROES will assist in creating a magical experience for campers, gather volunteer hours, and receive trainings throughout their session. Applications for this program can be found in the registration link. Enrollment will be awarded after an interview with camp staff.
Counselors in Training
The Counselors in Training (CIT) Program is for 16 and 17-year-old campers who wish to eventually become camp counselors at YMCA Camp Piomingo. A CIT spends three weeks at camp developing leadership skills, identifying and achieving goals, improving communication and decision-making skills, and contributing to the overall improvement of camp. This program resides in the Creek unit, where campers live in traditional cabins and have meals served from the dining hall.
