Water fitness classes are the refreshing and cool way to get fit. These classes provide ages 14 and up the ability to challenge themselves without stress on their joints and provides members the opportunity to enjoy the water. Instructors lead small groups through water aerobics, core strengthening and much more. It's an ideal form of exercise for beginners to advanced and increases physical strength and endurance. All classes are free to facility members.

WATER FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
AOA - Active Older Adults
A low impact class consisting of cardiovascular fitness, muscle strengthening and flexibility. An excellent class for older adults and beginners.
A total body workout using resistance equipment and movement for cardio and upper body conditioning.
Consists of cardiovascular fitness, muscle tone, endurance and flexibility without the stress of a traditional land exercise.
Aqua Fit Extra
Emphasis on cardiovascular conditioning while encouraging each individual’s growth. Our philosophy is that everyone can improve their fitness. The class also utilizes barbells, buoyancy equipment and resistance equipment for a rewarding aerobic workout.
Aqua Fit Plus
More intense cardiovascular exercise class that utilizes barbells, buoyancy equipment and resistance equipment for a challenging aerobic workout.
An intermediate/high level aqua class with a five minute warm-up and cool down with 35 minutes of intense cardio.
A high intensity class that incorporates interval water jogging and core strengthening.
From aqua intervals to aqua travel, this class mixes your favorite classes all in one. With such a versatile class, you are able to get a different workout every time.
A muscle toning class that uses the resistive nature of water to tone.
Same as Aqua Fit while traveling the entire class.
A class offering a safe, challenging, water-based workout that’s cardio-conditioning, body toning and most of all, exhilarating beyond belief.
Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program
This class is designed to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, daily function and joint range of motion, as well as to decrease pain.
An intense deep water class that incorporates cardiovascular fitness, core strengthening and toning. Participants do not have to be able to swim to participate in the class. Flotation equipment will be provided.
Diaper Dip is a time for infants and toddlers (6-36 months) to enjoy the Warm Water Therapy Pool together.
Fit in 50
Fifty minutes of more intense aqua cardiovascular exercise class that utilizes swim resistance equipment as well as noodles. Great class for promoting healthy living and social responsibility.
A class consisting of cardiovascular fitness, muscle strengthening and flexibility. Class is centered on slow movements to improve joint and muscle flexibility.
Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety! SilverSplash® offers LOTS of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required and special SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.
The slow movement of this ancient Chinese martial art integrates power and grace while improving strength, flexibility, balance and well being.
Appeals to all ages and fitness levels. Develop strength and flexibility with fluidity and grace. Focus on breathing for exercise and energy enhancement. Improve posture and body awareness.
This class is held in the Warm Water Therapy Pool using water and equipment to provide resistance to movement.
