How to Get Help

  • Image removed.Call or Text 502-635-5233. A Safe Place staff member will respond to calls and texts 24/7. No question is too small and no problem is too large for us to help!
  • Shelter House: If you need to find immediate shelter to separate yourself from a crisis situation, you may visit one of our Safe Place partner locations using the map below. They will contact Safe Place Services so you can be transferred to Shelter House and find additional support. You may also call or text 502-635-5233.
  • Youth Development Drop-In Center: You may visit the YDC Monday–Friday 8:30-1pm. 2400 Crittenden Drive, Louisville, KY 40217
  • Y-NOW Mentoring: If you are age 11–15 whose parent(s) are or have been incarcerated or have active substance addiction and are looking for someone to talk to, call or text 502-635-5233.
  • Street Outreach: Are you age 12–24, living on the street, and need assistance? Call or text 502-635-5233.
