Camp Intro

Children will have the opportunity to make their summer active and fun through crafts, sports, indoor and outdoor games, new friends and other fun ways to discover who they are. Although still structured, YMCA Summer Camps are more relaxed than the school routine and offer time and freedom for spontaneous play.

Kermit Camps

Ages 4-5

Welcome to a camp where kids laugh, learn, explore and grow in a preschool-centered environment.

We spend time outdoors playing field games, and singing songs, all incorporated around our unique weekly themes. We’ll also offer lots of fun arts and crafts as well as STEM activities. Each week we’ll explore a local park, take a field trip and swim twice.

Explorer Camp

Ages 6-10

Explorer Camp is a fun-filled place for your child to enjoy their summer! 

We spend lots of time outdoors playing field games, and singing songs, all incorporated around our unique weekly themes. We’ll also offer lots of fun arts and crafts as well as STEM activities.

Honor Bright Camps

Ages 6-12

Honor Bright is located on 17 acres of woods and fields. It is designed for campers who love to be outside and active for a majority of the day.  

Campers will enjoy a variety of activities such as archery, hiking, roasting marshmallows, swimming, singing camp fire songs, and so much more.

Camp Honor Bright - Leaders in Training

Ages 13-15

he LIT Program at Camp Honor Bright at the Clark County YMCA will provide participants ages 13 through 15 the opportunity to learn readily applicable leadership skills that go beyond just camp.

Participants will spend part of their time doing hands-on work at camp, such as leading games and crafts or helping the camp staff with other activities. At least twice a week, LITs will spend time learning about important leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, and responsibility.

Camp Horizon

Ages 10-14

Camp Horizon is all about getting out into the city and exploring. Campers will spend time planning their own fun around our weekly themes. They will also travel off-site 3-4 days a week. Campers will also learn independent life skills, such as meal prep, and budgeting, and self-care.
